Hey, ya gotta have a little 'Kitch', life is to short!
Actually they were a Christmas gift many years ago and followed us home from Texas. Now they are a memory as the person who gave them to us has passed on.

Hi Al, How'd you Know that we did that 'this summer', You got a good eye I guess

We HAD to put it in the Back yard, due to a BAD BAD neighbor Girl that thought she had rights to GO FISHING while I was at work!! She Killed some of my babies!

So I begged & begged my husband to start digging, or WATCH ME START!! And he didn't want that, as we wouldn't have a Back Yard left if it was up to me!! Get me?

We had the one if the front yard for yrs, until the Fish Killer came into our lives. Now my babies are save and sound in the back with all my other babies (my CHIDS). I have 3 big dogs that run free in house and back yard that protect my Pond now!!

We built the one in the back just about 3 months ago, just before my Chid Hotel
Good Eye ya got there Al

This Link has some Pics of both Ponds, and 2 Videos of me hand feeding my babies.

Wow, beautiful pond and babies. Very tranquil setting you have there. But...I think you're going to need a bigger pond. Your babies are growing!

Koi ponds are like greenhouses: you can never have one big enough! Nice job, but to be honest, I liked the one out front nicer. Darned kid anyways.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Kiki, Yes she is soooo very relaxing to hang out by and listen to the water, and feed my babies
And I agree with you, I wish she was bigger, but we couldn't because of the back yard size. That darn Pool is in the way!! And Greenhouse for that fact, but I gotta have that

When they out grow this pond, I'll dig deeper!!

And Ross, I like aspects of them both, to tell you the truth, but we did the best we could with the space we had.

The BEST thing about the back is she's SAFE from Punks! And, She's now 4.5 -5' deep, when the front was only 2.5'. Now over 5000 gal, the front was just over 1000 gal.

So in all, my babies are alot happier and Safe

Thanks for the Kudo's on both of them

8 yrs old. Old enough to KNOW BETTER!! At least I did when I was her age!!!

And yes she is LUCKY!! As I Should've pressed charges!! She lied and lied about it, to me, her whole family. Stating that those dead fish (mine) came from the Lake we all live on.

Please, Colorful, Beautiful HUGE, Butterfly Koi- In a yucky lake? We all knew better, But to this day, NO APOLOGY!!

And I have to look at her everyday.... She's is soooo lucky!!! You can't imagine my Anger of someone Killing My Pets!!!!
