Default Back in the land of OZ

I haven't had much to post over the summer although I did manage to round up about 25 new friends to bring back down to the Keys with me.

Looks like we had a fairly typical wet summer and fortunately no big storms again this year. The plant growth was exponential. Pic 1 is Spanish moss I hang on my vanda family plants under the misters. Now I have to thin it out so I can get underneath to get at the weeds.
Pic 2 is post thinning. Probably should remove some more but that's good enough for now.

If anyone is local and wants the pickings feel free to PM me.

I did manage to move things around on my benches enough to squeeze in the new plants. Lost a handful over the summer that were struggling but that is what usually happens. With that come some fun surprises like finding 5 new spikes developing on my Aerides odorata. My new record!

I have a major re-model in my head for execution starting maybe after the holidays in Jan when it's cooler. I love tinkering with set-ups so I'm really looking forward to that.
