Quote:
Miranda Orchids (USA) has Soph coccinea for $25 - Orchids of Brazil. Price List
and
(Sophronitis wittigiana for $20 - I'd like to enter that one (as it is a little less expensive) )
I will look into Canadian availability ..
That's great! As soon as we can confirm availability in Europe and Canada, I'll add it

What do you all think of these?

Andy's Orchids - Orchids Species - Dendrobium - bowmanii (mortii)

Andy's Orchids - Orchids Species - Dendrobium - lawesii

Both available in Europe...any Canadian availability?

Hmm... Camille's is one that she created using Google Custom Search, which is in beta. I never had any problems getting to it, but I have a google account, so maybe thats why??

What Camille's search lets you do is input the name of an orchid, and it will tell you which vendors have it available. Saves so much time, rather than having to check each vendors site individually.

I love the soph coccinea! And it's a available in the EU pretty cheap. So far I can't find the Soph wittigiana, which is a shame as it is really nice. I'll check other places for it.
Den lawsii is available (very nice!), but not Den bowmanii/mortii

Here's the link again to the search engine Orchid vendors in the EU
If it still doesn't work Sue, you may need to sign up to i-google.

Hi camille,

this time it works thanks...

I have to check for Soph wittigiana. I know I have seen it here in europe, but cannot remember the vendor... however, it can be that it is only one vendor (or so) that have it in europe, and therefore not very helpull for the project...
