Sue/Dorothy:
Thanks for the revised "on" list--for myself and the masses can you please give us clarification on the terms warm and intermediate? It was suggested on Sunday that intermediate would cover the range of 65F on the low end, and 80F on the upper end...if we are accepting this range as our "intermediate" for the project, then anything that is classifed as warm growing we should reconsider for the list--books life Flora's Guide state 60F is the low cusp for warm growing plants (and 50F for intermediate), Hausermann's recommends 64F as a low for warm growers (and 60F for intermediate) and so the confusion reigns...
That being said, perhaps it would be best to quantify our intermediate range, and omit plants that are incapable of growth outside of those temps, rather than looking at the words intermediate, warm, hot, cool, etc. Clearly the terms are very loosely used--we just need to do our homework and see what actual temperature range the plants are listed as growing within.
Just my two cents...
Adam
