As of tomorrow they will be in the box a week.

Fred has e-mailed me a couple of times and has said he will replace any that are bad. I really don't think it is his fault but FedEx's. However I also know something happened and I don't know what. But they were in Memphis for a full day and should have left there the morning of the 1 st.

We will see keep your fingers crossed.
Sorry to hear about your order FedEx really messed this up.

[QUOTE=Tim P.;761324]The not so baby babies finally made it! Slightly worse for the wear, but overall in good health. The three 'Wonderful' sisters all seem to have minds of their own Two of them have huge turgid pbulbs while the rustic royalty seedling seems to be much more of an elongated, but compact grower. I scored a potential sheath here, may be blank, but it is still green... Holding my breath it would be lots of fun to have instant gratification with our little project. The other two that I purchased are scarlet jewel x Richard stone (lots of coccinea) love the red veined leaves and am hoping for well formed red blooms. The other is pot. Martha Clarke x blc. Life's Charm.

For the record it is the 'irwins' cross that has the potential spike. The 'ultimo' one has a dried up sheath.

Drumroll please!!

Very nice! Only one came with a sheath for me, but it is dried and I'm pretty sure it was a dud anyways. Hope yours gives you some blooms!

In my short experience, I have found "first" sheaths to not do anything. the dry up or just don't develop, but, a second sheath is usually not too far behind ( although Catts. seem to be awfully slow to develop blooms )

My poor little plants arrived in Casper this morning at 3:00 something AM. That is only 2 hours away. But I don't think there will be any way to get them on the weekend. I think it is best to just wait it out. I am sure they will deliver them on Monday. Casper just said a sorting facility. I should try and find a phone number but I still don't think I could get at them.

Tim I'm glad you got yours and they all look good to me. I hope mine will look that good I would be very happy.

So finally they are going to be here today. They just updated tracking. They had gotten delayed by a big storm somewhere and so missed a departure. I guess shit happens, that's Mother Nature. One of the things people will never be able to control. Gotta like that about her.

Shannon, I am glad you can expect them today. Hope you don't run out some place today before they get there. We will all be waiting to see how they did in there travel to you and their new home. I bet you can't wait for the driver to pull up to your door today. I hope you don't have to wait to much longer.

No I plan on staying right here till that truck gets here we had a cold front come in yesterday so instead of sitting here in my long johns I better get dressed And I'm not kidding I really am in my long johns both bottoms and a top it's like 54 degrees here today. Ok I looked it's up to 55 now 66 in the house. When dear hubby got up this morning he had to turn the base board heaters on as he said it was 63 in the house. I stayed in bed for a bit with the dogs.

They are here and they all look ok to me. They were very dry and I have already watered them with seaweed mixed with inocucor. So now we will see.

I'll get some pictures and get them uploaded tomorrow.

I'm very relieved

Oh and guess what he sent me an extra walkeriana, it's smaller than the other but looks like it will be fine. I am going to have to see how many will need re-potted.
