I guess I'll voice my preference as well and say I prefer compact or standard catts. Mini catts don't do it for me. I actually bought the Soph. Wild Fire though because I expect it to be a really nice flower.

I just don't want one of those really big ones, for room considerations.

How long do we want to go before final plant selection and ordering the plants? I think I'm gunna go a little crazy and order two if we get the one I like, just to see what variance I can have in my own collection (and of course keep the one I like the most

I'm so limited on space at this point that I pretty much have to stick strictly to minis.

Although I'm also so limited on money that I'm not sure I'll even participate anyway.

Does anyone know how long before they would be blooming in this project? I would also like to join in if we do a mini Cat project.

I am not for sure. I would say within a year if they are not blooming size. Anyone else have expensive with SVO? I need to email Fred. It looks like we have enough to go forward for sure with this project!

Anyone who wants to suggest alternative plants can do so. If there is clear cut contenders we will hod a final Poll.

And WOW... over ten people potentially interested! Super excited How long before we run the potential poll, and order? Input?

Yes, in my experience the sophronitis can be a pain. Namely, coccinea. I actually have a soph. wittigiana and it takes a lot of abuse. Every bit as robust as the rest of my collection, and I love it. I don't baby it at all Now If i could just pretend to know how to get it to bloom as well as it grows!
