I went to inspect mine today and what do you know, it is throwing out a spike! Here's hoping that it doesn't blast.

Someone posted a really nice one on the AOS FB page and he says that the key is lots of airflow. Mine is getting lots of airflow.

Thumbs up

Well, same here went to water tonight and found I have two spikes, one has really come out and the other is less visiible for the moment. Comparing it to my first photo it's even developing a new leaf at the top.
This is the first time I acquire a plant for a project and get a spike this quickly! I get to see the blooms
Thank you to the growers Nardotto.

Congrats Nenella!! I think I'll end up getting another one from Nardotto in august (and great excuse to get a few other plants I've been eying!) when I'm at my mother's place in France.

Mine is doing quite well. There are a few new roots starting, and some new leaves. Some lower leaves yellowed and fell off in the first weeks, but I think it was simply adapting to my conditions, and with all the new growth I'm not worried about it.

Count is now 4 spikes! 2 one side of the plant and 2 on the other side.

Gave mine a big watering early this am. Now the fans are going for air movement. The spike is still there but it looks a bit stalled. Not sure if it is going to bloom or not. We shall see.

I found two more spikes and a new fan starting. Mine is going like gangbusters. I need to take another photo.

i still have not much movement in the podangis, the fans seem a little bigger and the roots are growing be it very very slowly
