Your way nicer than me. I got a few orchids from my friend in Denver when I went last week and was watering my new Cymbidium in my sink and then found a slug in it. I squished it. I did say I was sorry to him

For those who are looking for the Podangis in a larger size. Insitu has them on eBay and they look GREAT!

If I hadn't gotten such a nice plant from Clown Alley, this was going to be my backup plan. I still may order an extra one....just in case.

I would never say sorry. Slugs and snails get stomped with gusto.

Thank you for the link, shadytrake.

I need to get another one.
I found mine (from Clown Alley too) has fell apart this morning when I picked it up to mist it.

Yeah... um... no slugs. No snails. I actually torn down and restarted my planted tank due to a ramshorn snail problem. Once all of my fish had died, I tore the whole thing out. Bought new gravel. Let the plants air dry for a day or so. Boiled the decor. Then I started over again.

I checked on the Clown Alley website and they do have a larger size listed. I picked the smaller one because it does say the smaller one is blooming size.

Yeah, that's definitely not going to make it. Looks like it has crown rot. Just call them up and tell them you want a replacement plant.

Mine had a centipede in it, with rotting medium, and it was not as bad off as yours is.

John from Clown Alley just replied me. He will send me replacement of two plants and refunded me three, including this Podangis dactyloceras. He said he couldn't find any with roots after unpotted what he had for those three......

John is a really nice guy. I'm sure he will make it right for you. Bummer that you had a bad one.

Sounds like he is doing his best to make it right for you. I'm glad to hear it! I'm so sorry you don't have one now and that he can't replace it, but it sounds like he had no idea they'd decayed to that state. Really feel for them. That's probably no small loss.
