My plants arrived from Hausermann's today and look great. New root growth on the amesiella and evidence that it has bloomed before (dried spike) and the den. laevifolium has a new growth, maturing growth, and two old growths with buds (I think). Very excited!

Ugh, that photo is dark...I'll have to take some more later on.

Reliable did you get a shipping notification? I am with Ashley and ordered mine almost a week ago from Hausermann and have gotten no shipping info. I may need to contact them.

Hausermann's does not send out shipping notification. They have their explanation of when they ship on their faq page. So if you ordered Tuesday, and are on the west coast, they will not ship until Monday.

I received an email when they shipped it out. I ordered on the 4th and received an email saying it was shipped out on the 6th.

I just made my pre-order for the MOS show. They had both plants and I will get a discount and no shipping! Woot!

Hmmmm. I ordered on the third, but they do say that they ship to closer places later in the week. It could still come tomorrow. If not, it'll be here next week hopefully. I know it'll get here. I'm just excited.

I hope you don't mind, I am going to try a similar method. I had never heard of kool-logs until I read your post. I think I am going to get some and try mine in ecoweb or coco husk instead of the moss.

I love that the logs have a water reservoir. A bonus is they are only one state over from me! I am really interested in seeing how well a cooler loving orchid grows on them...might open up a lot of opportunities for me.

Ok so I am going to wait to order. It has turned cold here in the last few days and it say's it will be into the 30's at night till at least Wed. So I believe it will be better for me to see how the end of next week will look.

I was thinking of ordering from J&L also and I'm thinking of getting Leptotes bicolor as my second plant, I mean for the project.
