How big does the maxillaria tenuifolia get? That's on my want list, but I don't have a lot of room.

The ones I saw at the orchid show were all around a foot tall, maybe a bit bigger. Not a small plant, more compact than miniature sized. I made room for one. I'll be donating a NOID oncidium that I impulse bought to make room for it, and I am okay with this.

Yes that's why I wanted to order from Ray's. I wanted to get the tetraspis. Not sure it will do good for me but it is so cool. And I'm not sure what else I want.

You can get the Tetraspis from Peter Lin @ Big Leaf Orchids. He's got some more, I actually just ordered two for myself and was very happy with what I got.

I am trying to get the winning orchid from a local grower as he can just bring it to the OS meeting. I know he had them at one time....

In my opinion, the max-ten is really worth the space. Even though I am constantly getting rid of stuff and trying new stuff, I never consider getting rid of the max-ten. I find it attractive out of bloom.

The flowers alone were enough for me to say, "Okay, that NOID Oncidium I have takes up too much room, maybe I should ditch it...", but that scent sealed the deal. Cocomazing!

About the Amesiella being sold out at Ray's, didn't someone contact him and he said he could get ahold of more of them if needed? If that's the case and people don't mind waiting to order, that could be an option for those that are disappointed about Ray being sold out.

I've created a thread where everyone can post about their plant(s) as they arrive: http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ng-2015-a.html

It could. If you guys really would rather wait to get them from Ray, let me know how many of you there are and I will be happy to send him an email and let him know!

I haven't sent around a PM to everyone yet, so I could ask the question there, and ask that those that are interested send you a PM. Would that work? That way everyone is sure to see this info.

Good to know. I'll have to get that one next time I order orchids somewhere.

Uh-Oh. I'm already talking about my next order. My order for this project almost doubled the number of orchids I have. My husband's going to kill me!
