**So far these are the plants in the lead (am counting 6 because of the issues with C. aclandiae):

Hadrolaelia group: 13 votes
Dendrobium cucumerinum: 11 votes
Oeniella polystachys: 11 votes
Podangis dactyloceras: 11 votes
Cattleya aclandiae: 11 votes
Leptotes bicolor: 10 votes

For the final poll I will include the list of growers (with their shipping fees if possible), so that everyone can make an informed vote. I'll try to get that up by wednesday evening at the latest.
So we have a tie then for 6th with Amesiella monticola?

Super. I have it but I like it too! This list is turning out really well!

I'll count your votes anyway, since Orchidboard was down for a long time yesterday, so even if you wanted to vote on time, it would have been difficult...

So with that done, this is the final leaderboard!!

Hadrolaelia group: 13 votes
Oeniella polystachys: 12 votes
Dendrobium cucumerinum: 11 votes
Podangis dactyloceras: 11 votes
Cattleya aclandiae: 11 votes
Leptotes bicolor: 10 votes
Amesiella monticola: 10 votes

I will be completing the vendor lists and double checking all the ones we already listed.

Great to know that all can be found in Australia! You're lucky

I'll get the poll up as soon as I can. I have a really busy week, but hope to find time this evening and next to finish up everything.

Last night I compiled all the growers that have the plants into a list, and the next step will be to double check them for size (at least NBS).

Below is what I have come up with.

Podangis dactlyoceras, Dendrobium cucumerinum, Oeoniella polystachys, Leptotes bicolor and Amesiella monticola are pretty much certain to be the final poll. I think Catt aclandiae will stay in as well despite the EU availability issues. The problem is the Hadrolaelias in the USA. SBOE is the main source for them, and I hate to impose one grower on everyone. Melissa found a few at a handful of other growers, but I don’t know if people are satisfied with the options. If you know of other growers which carry one or more of the species for less than $25, let me know!

Then I (or someone else) may need to contact a few growers to check their stock. I'll see this evening which plants may be good to have that info on.

Sorry for being slow to do this.... I'm handing in my PhD thesis in a few months, and my workload is continuously increasing, and yesterday my professor set pretty unrealistic deadlines to get stuff done for one of my manuscripts (which is why I'm here procrastinating rather than working...) And I'm also job hunting (just applied for a job at a Phalaenopsis breeding company!! )
