Way to go, Terri!!!

This is our first for the non-spiked-on-arrivals, correct?

Way to go! Congratulations.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

No Sue, mine arrived with a barely visible nubbin. So I was in the in spike category.

Two more flowers opened over night. It's kind of wierd they aren't opening in any particular sequence along the spike. Is that unusual?

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. I was doubtful when we started this project that I could grow this plant let alone get it to bloom. I'm glad I proved myself wrong. The next challenge will be to see if I can it to rebloom.

Oh congratulations Terri, isn't it wonderful to get one of these beauties to bloom in the winter. Mine is just a couple of days away from an opening. Can't wait.
