I also found the answer to my first question about any Bulb: what does it smell like? From what I've read, the smell is very light says one person and another says it reminds them of cucumber so it doesn't sound bad
I like it

As for the bulb, I won't see 75-76 DAYS until next June let alone 89-91 during the day. LOL
Don't let me stop you, if you folks like it, go for it, I'll just wait for the March project.......

Oh Al...you know it's not as simple as that!
All the plants will put into a poll in a few days and the winner of the poll is the one!
A different part of this one is that we'll order from any vendor of our choosing...and anybody can get in on the fun, as there will be no project group discount involved.
A REQUEST, PLEASE:
any further conversation on this "Quickie Project" should take place in the new thread I've posted...use this link:
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...e-project.html
let's leave this thread for the Springtime Project
Thank you

Not sure how far this has gone, but I will continue to push for those warm growing Restripias.

It stopped here Tin, I was just trying to say not to hold the project up 'cause I can't have a warm grower. I'll shut up now.

Maybe warm growing Retripias can do well in cooler conditions, being that they are Pluerothalids and all.

Hi Kevin
This project will start the week of March 9, 2008. I put a notice on the OB calendar and we'll post a notice when we get close to that time. It'll be great to have you with us on it

Are we still only going with small - mini in size, intermediate grower, and species only? Since I have a couple of weeks on my hand with nothing to do but read & watch TV I thought I'd start to put a list together.
