Who wants to do a summer project? 
After much discussion last month about how to organize the summer project, let’s start! Please,

Summer project 2012- Plant suggestions
We will be doing things a bit differently this time. Still intermediate growing plants, but it is not a 1 or 3 plant
project like we have done in the past, but groups of similar orchids instead. See suggestion thread for detailed info.
For people new to projects, the idea is that we compile a list of candidate plants meeting set criteria, vote on
our favorite and then everyone buys the winning plant. Afterward we share photos of our plants, compare
growing notes and get advice from each other. Always lots of fun! In the past a couple of the projects have also been competitions, but we'll just be doing this one for the fun of it
The process:
1. Compile participants list (sign up by replying to this thread)
2. Take plant suggestions and compile a list of plants that fit the criteria
3. Vote for final selection
4. Purchase final selection
5. Share your new arrival, growing conditions, care, success or failure
6. Have fun!
This will be a quickie, because I want to put up the poll right before I go on vacation (August 6th or 7th). I'll have internet, but will have better things to do with my time. The poll is all I feel like managing while relaxing in France.
Or the discussions can go on for longer if someone takes over for me.
