I have moved mine outdoors because the conditions now seem ideal - hot, humid and breezy - with quite a large diurnal temperature range. I will keep a watch to see if it "works". My other orchids love it, especially the bl yellow Bird, a Lowes rescue that may just bloom....

Not much from mine. The new lead is still growing but the old roots have gone dead on me. It's not sulking so I assume it's doing ok.

I discovered a 3rd growth. I can't believe I had missed it before. The other two are growing nicely.

Not many. I'd say there is about 1/2" of good root growth. It was doing great and then in a weekend went from good to bad. The new lead is still progressing good so its obviously getting the nutrients it wants/needs.

Looks great 31drew31! Your plant looks ahead of everyone else's. Is that an actual bud or a sheath type thing? If it's not a bud I don't know if it will bloom. All my plants have had buds developed when the leaf opens. Sometimes they have a second smaller leaf that kind of looks like a sheath at first. Here is a pic of one of my plants in February. This is a little bit after the leaf opened so one bud is all the way open. But when the leaf opened it had two little buds inside. I hope you get flowers though!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346204783.440529.jpg

Thanks Wynn Dee. I think you are probably right but time will tell, it only starts opening today. There's no color at all other than green so its probably not a flower. Oh well.
