Default Susquehanna

Yes, Bob, I am a member of Susquehanna Orchid Society. I was at last Sunday's meeting, and will be speaking there next month on the rupicolous Laelias. It has been a long while since I've gone there regularly. When I lived in Altoona, I'd visit my parents and go to SOS meetings. But then I started going to CPOS meetings, as they were closer to Altoona. Since moving back to Carlisle, I haven't gone so much. Seems like the society is really turning around now.

I guess I just figure if there is only 10 at this place and 15 at that place, etc., we will all end up finding whatever it is somewhere.

Awesome! I saw you at the auction, although I didn't gt a chance to speak with you. Ill make sure to be at the next meeting then. If soph cernua gets chosen, I'll make sure to wait and just pick one up at the meeting from you!

Yes since I joined a few years ago I've seen various members step up and the society begin to "wake up"

I agree with Camille, I'm getting impatient over here! I have already ordered my little Paphie and my little equestris 'Blue Lip' so I'm set in that area, now I want the project to START!

Well, because the soph has a chance of winning, and I've been looking for a nice orange/red flowered orchid that doesn't take too much space already... mine is on it's way lol

I fell in love with that little beauty looking at pictures
(also, the fact that I need some carnivorous plants from the same vendor to deal with my little gnat outbreak really helped too hehe.)

How weird is it that I hope it loses in the last poll so I can get another cool 'chid too?

From Hawaiian Botanicals www.hawaiianbotanicals.com
I'll probably order myself some hardy orchids from them too as soon as the weather stops acting retarded so that I might start prepping my garden.

Might get myself a Marimo ball too, just for the weird/unusual factor

(I will also one day figure out how to get the Quotes to insert the poster's name too eventually...)

Click the quote button on the right side of the post you want to quote

Also if you get hooked on CP's come check out the Ontario Carnivorous Plant Society (not only ON anymore)

I found the Bulbo (lobbii) and the Den at Tropical Orchid Farm in Hawaii. The reviews on OB about them are fantastic. It may be worth giving them a call.
