Hi Chaz! Welcome to the forum. I wonder if you have a list somewhere of what other orchids you offer (besides the laelas and catts). I am always interested in finding new vendors. : )
Again, welcome! It is great to have you on board!

Leafmite- Hi, I don't have a list- I've really narrowed my plants to rupicolous Laelias and dens of the Australian Dockrillia group, as they are both somewhat succulent and grow well together. I do also have a bunch of Mystacidium braybonae, and constantia cipoensis. My friend flasks for me, and those flasks or other species are occasionally also available, but no flasks now.

I noticed you mentioned Clouds has Soph. cernau but it is a medium seedling, mounted as shown by the code on their site. I do think the Hawaiian Botanicals has some of two varieties, not sure what size.

Someone already emailed Hawaiian botanicals, and they have 6 S. cernua and 5 S. cernua var. mineira, all blooming size.

Hi Chaz,

Welcome and thanks for the pic! What you need to know is that most of us like to buy TCs (traveling companions) because the chids get "lonely" during shipping.

So we NEED your rupi Laelia list so we can add a TC or 2.

I LOVE rupi Laelias! ...runs to eBay to look for the rupi list. Would love it if you would send it to me by PM.

Thanks!

Heard from Parkside, they have 21 Phal cornu-cervi. The hitch is that they are actually $25, not the $22 written on the website. So it's off the list. J&L replied again telling me that Bulbo lobbii is sold out, and they have 20 each of Ang. didieri and the Den, but they are selling them regularily.

The huge number of US participants is making this very very difficult. I think that this is going to have to be a 2 plant project if a plant other than the Soph or Angraecum wins.

Hi Camille,

J&L has sumatranum listed separately. Are they saying that both the lobbii and sumatranum are sold out?

Also Clackamas has the bulbo according to their website. I'll check a couple others.

I think J & L said they have enough of the sumatranum but are sold out of lobbii. The only thing about Clackamas is that they are divisions so I doubt they will have 30 of them. But I guess some people could get one or the other since they are supposed to be synonyms. I like the lobbii better.
