here are some compact rupicolous species (various colors from reddish to yellow)
Laelia lucasiana
Laelia liliputana
Laelia reginae
Laelia ghillanyi
Laelia fournieri
Laelia briegeri
prices vary but are usually between 15 and 35 dollars (or euros) in all countries listed
Andy's has a good selection of them
Hawaiian Botanical has all of them (I think)
Orchideen has most of them (to be confirmed if someone email them?) |

The last link was pointing to the home page, them you have to search for laelia in the search field.

Thank you. I think it's the fact that rupicolous wasn't part of any of the names that got me completely confused. I thought it had to be there for it to be the "proper" plant. Now I know better, thank you for enlightening this newbie a bit.  |

rupicolous refers to the growing habit of those species, which means living among rocks.
