If I remember correctly, last time we each got to vote on like 3 or 5, so you dont have to pick just one favorite. Then all that was tallied together. Dont remember for sure though, maybe someone can clarify.

In the past have you guys ever picked two plants so if some people already had one of them then they could get the other? Then if you don't have either you could get both. Then more people would have a chance at getting one they don't already have. I think that would be fun to do.

-To whoever asked, usually the aim is to get a non-bloomijg sized plant.
-Last MP (Member's Project), we did a list of all eligible plants, and members voted on all the ones they wanted to pass on, whether it was one or all of them. After that, we did the top ten, also having the ability to vote on one or all of them, and the one with the most votes won!
-I too agree that the top 2 should become the official PP (Project Plant).

thinking about this, even if you had the top 2 as a the pp you would always have someone with at least one of each of the plants. What about giving the choice that if you already have more than one of the pps you get to designate one of them as the pp ? I personally don't have more than one of the same species/hybrids so I'm not impacted - but the mutant for example has about 25 equestris'ssss, many of the same cultivar I think , I lost track. Someone else has sophrinitis c, and another person has multiple angraecum didieri's.....
I don't know if this was an issue in prior years and how it was handled. Additionally I don't know if the rules specify the size of the pp - I can't get anything that's too large for a windowsill - I know I don't have to participate but I would like to. Maybe have 2 voting categories ? 1 for windowsill/mounted and another for larger - instead of top 2............maybe I am making this too complicated

The size is 1 foot or 12 inches, 16 inches if including bloom stalk. Not sure about the other things as this would be my second project.

Yes, blooming size because we usually see whose will bloom first and if it's not blooming size then everyone comes in at a different point. The goal is to learn, enjoy and share with each other.

What if you buy your plant and it comes in bud or bloom? Should we ask for a blooming size plant not currently in bud or bloom?
