Since 'unfortunately' I have to attend an orchid show this weekend that's 2 countries away from here, I can't do much work on checking suggestions.

So for now I simply posted the entire list of suggestions in the first post so that people know what has already been suggested. Next week I'll start culling out the ones that don't meet cultural requirements.

Feel free to look up some of the plants in the list!!

Updated my post with the price point.

ERIA bractescens is $15 and the Dimerandra stenopetala is $20.

I've already been making a list of the ones I like. Criteria: bloom more than once a year and are fragrant. The little angraecum didieri is wonderful. I have three of them so I don't think I will order a fourth if it wins but I do recommend it. There are so many great choices and it has been fun to learn about each. I nearly ordered a few but I will control myself, I will. Repeat.

And a Canadian vendor, Clouds Orchids, as well for 15 (Canadian dollars?) Just Species !(updated on March 4, 2012 (Refresh))

I found another of my favourites, Promenaea xanthina, at both an European and a Canadian/Hawaiian vendor, but I think they are waaay too expensive Orchid Species Shop - Buy orchid species plants including Phalaenopsis species, Paphs, Angraecum, Bulbophyllum and lots more , Orchids at Hawaiian Botanicals considering they charge 24.99£ (29.99 EUR (!)) and 25CAD for it...

Expensive, and it's also out of stock in the UK, if you look at the page. $25 in canada is within the limit though.
