I like the idea of bulbos as long as they are not stinky and maxillarias, pleuros and masdies are great choices as well. but i was thinking maybe hadrolaelias or rupicolous laelias, or even a paph or phrag?? I think the plant shouldnt have any special requirements so that more people can join the project and grow the plant well!

Kovachii is going to be waaaay out of the price range. Project plants have to be affordable, so that people don't feel pressured to spend more than they can afford, and cheap plants (usually under $25) mean more people can participate without money becoming an issue.

Kovachi is cool, but too expensive!
Ideas...
Lealia purpurata: Warm- intermediate- cool
Lealia bradei: warm- int- cool
Maxillaria scalarifromes: inter-cool
Maxillaria phoecanthera: warm- int- cool
Maxillaria picta: Warm - int- cool
Masdevallia charparensis: intermediate- cool
Masdie Coccinea: intermediate- cool

What bulbos don't smell bad...?

Hi I'm interested in being involved in the project. I found Rosie's explanation. What do I have to do to get involved?
Thanks Donna

Let see if this time i can participate in the project. It will be interesting to grow C schilleriana, C. aclandiae or C. walkeriana.

My suggestions would be Bulbophyllum lasiochilum, B.
medusa, or B. vaginatum.

I would LOVE to try Bulbo. Medusae, it's been on my wish list a while and I see them in quite a few places recently.
