Yes, Dorothy, this one is very tempting!!

But I also found a clone of L. pumila that I really like so from not liking this one at all, I'm being swayed...

I also found a peloric form of C. intermedia! I think pelorics look so beautiful...

The named form shown in the photo isn't available (oh, how I wish it was!) but what a spectacular flower!!

Shakkai, I have been eyeballing this same one on ebay, although the purple is a different shade! It is a beauty! Have you found it somewhere to purchase?

There is a C. intermedia v. aquini available. But I gather from other photos posted that it doesn't necessarily have the purple splashes on the petals... I would need to find a C. intermedia v. aquini coerulea for that. (But what I really want is this named clone!!)

Isn't it gorgeous? Talk about stop in your tracks, drop-dead gorgeous....

Just found a good place to compare the different varieties.

Cattleya intermedia

I'm thinking that if the Catt is chosen, I will need to get a few types so it won't be lonely. I don't have any Cattleya at all now.

So many choices..........OK..........I'm done.

Do we really have to wait a week <whine>. Or do we badger everyone into voting NOW.

Anything but plain white, pleeeeeeeeeease! I really don't want to do a plain white flower, it's just so ordinary. A project should be something extraordinary!
