I got mine today, too. There's nothing so exciting as opening a box of orchids.
It seems that my mouse-clicking finger spasmed and I bought their 10 catts for $50, in addition to 3 others plus the project plant. Then yesterday I bought 9 on the clearance table at Home Depot. Also in the mail today were 5 more I bought on Ebay. That's 28 orchids in two days. I have a serious problem.

Default Orchid

My guy just arrived today at work. Everyone was jelous. Very interesting how thick the leaves are! Anyway, do we have a requirement concerning pot-grown or mounted? I was thinking about mounting it. Also, is everyone elses in 2" pots?

I put mine into a clear pot with aliflor...but that may change because I read last night that they like to be mounted.

Everybody in the project will do to the plant whatever they would've done on a regular basis...and we'll see how each different environment and culture regimen works for the plant

I put a picture of mine into the CHAT PROJECT GALLERY last night...I'll schedule monthly update photos so we can all track each other's process.

Happy growing everybody!

Did you guys get shipping notice or did they just arrive?
Aaron, what are you mounting on and with? I may mount mine on my mini mount.... maybe with my spagh... guess I'll have to do some chatting and thinking.

Where are you gonna put so many orchids??? If you don't have enough room, you could always send it to Queens College.
If I had my way, I would clean out Oak Hill, Andy's, The Orchid Shop, Little Frog, Orchids of Maui and Quarter Acre Orchids. And more.
But I don't get my way

Hi Tik, they arrived without warning. If you're concerned, you can always call or email them to see if and when your order shipped.

and Tin...I'd like to go on that shopping spree with ya!!!

Yes together we can be like Michael Jackson at the mall.

"I want that, and that, oh and that over there, give me 6 of those. Pack that up, this one too, do you have more of these? Thats pretty, I want 4. I can't believe you have those, I'll take them all!"
