I'm thinking I might need to unmount mine and get it into some sphag!
Little by little...the sphag lovers are insisting I use it more often

Congrats Gin you've done well . Are you in on Project 4 Nahhhh only jokin', it's great that your's has bloomed and looking forward to mine soon, I can only hope.
Mine is mounted in tree fir, it seems to like it but a slow grower , standing proud but yet to bless me with a bloom. Just wait until I see that first sign...ha...

Scottie finally bit the dust! It was a long hard struggle and I'm happy that he's out of his misery now.

Hi Gloria
It was just never happy for me
I had it mounted and it didn't do well so I potted it and it didn't improve. Never really grew anything new and started losing leaves one by one.
The last one fell off yesterday
I'm not discouraged though...I'll try another one

Thats horrible Sue. Hence forth I will never complain about my Angraecums who don't bloom. I will be happy that they do not die.
Is it possible that you kept them too wet Sue? I have one that is mounted on a stick and I allow it to dry out completely every night in my low humidity apartment. I have it hanging from a tall lamp. So it recieves plenty of sunlight in the morning and lamp light the rest of the day. Gets very dry in my apartment. But is seems to like it even more than it did during its tenure in one of my humid vivariums.
