That sucks Joann. Where did you get it from? Flat like a pancake for these guys doesn't seem possible... makes you wonder why it's pouting. Hopefully it'll perk up, but if not, you'll have more fun reviving it and blooming it... right... (there's gotta be some bright side)

I'm probably being a whiney baby about the condition of the plants. When I buy from Lowe's I expect to have to nurse them along, when purchased from a grower, my expectations are a bit higher. I got it from Oak Hill.

Agreed, I expect certain things from growers that I dont expect on other sellers (less maybe Andy's, but I expect the scruffiness if you know what I mean from him.) I agree, pics would be good, and I'm surprised. Who knows, maybe this isn't Oak Hill's specialty.

I know what you mean with Andy . The couple of plants I've gotten from Andy's have been "scruffy" looking but really healthy and plenty of roots.
I'm going to post the pictures as soon as the camera battery recharges so I can upload them, shouldn't take too much longer.

I love Andy's for that reason alone. He really brings the wild out in the plants, and for that I give him 2 thumbs up. Now if only I can keep them alive.
But, back on topic, I can't wait to see some blooms!

You should not expect flat as a pancake, Joann.
I know many growers browse this forum. They know that this summer project is going on .....and just like "THAT" a multitude of growers had brachiata listed for sale.
This forum sort of keeps things honest. None of the growers want a bad review on this site. People have long memories and complaints stay around for forever. All you have to do is bump a thread.
Call them;-)

Joann, I'm honestly shocked that Oak Hill would send you a flat pancake as opposed to an orchid! I have had nothing but excellent experiences with them, even on NBS plants.

I agree that you should call them and discuss this with them. They have always been exceptionally helpful to me when I've had questions about plants that I've ordered from them before. And I have to agree that most growers and companies really want to help out - because it is their passion as well and would feel the same way as you if shoes were reversed.
