Wow! It is great to see everyone's plants! Due to some financial setbacks, it will be a few weeks before I can order mine!

Mine didn't have any flower spikes. The roots look good. I soaked them for a while to make them pliable, then potted. I need to figure out how to post a pic.

This is gonna be good.

Well, it looks like my little one is having some bud blast. At least one of the buds is turning yellow and looks like it wants to fall off. The nub is also turning yellow but I don't know what's going to happen to that one yet.

The good news is that one of the buds still looks like it wants to open up and seems to be holding (thus far at least).

I left mine as received and have been rewarded with a bunch of root growth.
It has been hot and humid...with thundershowers, daily. It seems that all three conditions have accelerated growth. I've been using Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed once a week. The plant is in about 40% shade until about 1:00 and than about 60% shade for the rest of the day.

Well, it looks like mine is having a bit of a setback, but hopefully not too much of one. It really took some heat/sunburn in recent days. I didn't notice it until just today, should've caught it earlier.
It's obviously been weirdly hot these last few weeks. I'm wondering if my morning misting may have escalated some of the burn. At least 8 leaves are affected... Grr. Only 2 appear worse for wear. I'll keep you posted, but let it serve, even early morning sun + 90 heat = burn.

Yeah, that's where he's getting stashed for the foreseeable future. It'll take a huge hit in light levels, but it wont burn it.
