Cool! You're not far from me! Are you a member of any local clubs?

Default First Scheduled Chat for Project #4

Hi everybody...

It seems that the initial influx of members interested in our upcoming project has slowed down so...I'm scheduling our first chat for Thursday July 19th at 7pm EST.

I realize that with all the different locations, this time may not be adaptable for all involved but it won't be the only one

Any possibilities will be posted in a thread and remarks and comments can be added there. We will continue debating for a few weeks (at least, that's how it's gone in the past) so I'm sure you'll be able to make it to a few of the chat sessions.

Come Prepared!

Start keeping a list of 'chids you'd be interested in. We go through dozens before coming to the point of doing a final poll so have a few on your list

To make it easy, I always keep a folder in My Favorites with links to each particular 'chid, preferably with some culture info about it. If the info is not available when you throw in your ideas, we'll find it as we go along but it would save time if you had a link ready.

On your marks, get set...GO!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Are we primarily focusing on species or is it anything goes as long as it fits the intermediate, compact requirements?
