The caudatum is a good call, should make for quite the TC. Good luck growing

Okay, this is going to sound really stupid and I will probably feel stupid after finding out. What is "TC"?

Haha, once upon a time I had the same question. It's a traveling companion. Every orchid has to have one. Makes you feel better about the shipping cost

And that way they don't get lonely on the trip. And if you happen to live close enough to a nursery that carries the plant you want, it still has to travel home, right. Plus you saved so much on the shipping you have extra to spend.

Thanks, zxyqu, I hope I can get this bulbo to bloom! My primary hybrid is too small, I think. Better yet I hope I can get both of my new chids to bloom!

Yep, I had to ask the same thing when Camille used it in a reply to a post of mine when all the project stuff started! As if learning all the plant lingo wasn't enough, we've all got to learn a specific vocab for ordering as well!

(btw My order went in just now to Großräschener Orchideen ..... but you'll have to wait until it gets here before I reveal my 3 TCs )

Well, I admit to getting a little carried away with my TC list, but the $17 shipping made me want to get my money's worth, so in addition to my Gastrochilus japonicus I ordered:

PHALAENOPSIS bellina (violacea v. Borneo) 2-2.5inch
PHALAENOPSIS equestris 2inch
PHALAENOPSIS schilleriana 2.25inch
PHALAENOPSIS stuartianai 2.5inch
PHALAENOPSIS violacea v. Malaysia 2-2.5inch
Species Plant Special: Sedirea japonica
Phal. lindenii

I have a Phal. stuartianai that is little, and I'm getting another to keep it company and improve my odds. All the others will be new to me, except that I do have a seedling size cross of equestris x lindenii .

My husband may Give me stink eye when these arrive, but since they are on the seedling/small size, he may be more understanding?

Whoo-hoo! Sounds like a TC party to me! And, well, they are all underage! I hope they were taught well while at Oak Hills
