I have no memory of the 60, 70, or 80s :)

born in the 50's and just woke up

I remember everything......... but wish I could forget!!!

Well being a youngin, I dont remember the 80's outside of climbing trees in the yard. But I'm sure it was fun. I'm giving three cheers for the Angreacum, one of a few on the list I think might survive in my hands

Just as a quick update. I've had a couple of responces from vendors so far. Oak Hill and Parkside have both been very helpful with quite quick responces. Still waiting for responces from the others.

Are you getting positive info or are we in for a project split?

zxyqu 04-12-2011 09:10 AM

Any word back from the vendors? Sorry just want to get this started. Hopefully they'll have them.

Daethen 04-12-2011 09:15 AM

Me too! The wait for info is killing me!

RosieC 04-12-2011 04:17 PM

You beat me to it, I was planning on updating everyone today :) I've had responces back from Oak Hill, Parkside and Hausermans.

It looks like there is good supply of...
Paph delenatii
Gastrochilus japonicus
Doritis pulcherrima

There is lower supply, possibly enough for a split project of the following...
Aerangis fatuosa
Paph concolor
Angreacum didieri

I am tempted to put these 6 into the poll (subject to a final check I'm just making of some prices from Parkside) and if one of the more limited ones wins then split the project into two with the second place one as well. What does everyone think?

lund0682 04-12-2011 04:32 PM

So how would that work? Would half of us get one orchid, and the other half would get a different orchid?

Call_Me_Bob 04-12-2011 07:34 PM

How would it be decided who gets which?

What happened to laelia lundii? Not enough? :(

You can call me Bob ;)

"have no fear, help is here!"
