The other pkg. that took a week in transit was a Dend. cuthbertsonii x with no water in the plant and this little plant has just sent up a new cane so if these plants are packed as well as every one says they should be ok for a week. I just don't understand why it takes so long to get to Iowa.

I don't understand it either but I have faith in Parkside's packing. I think they'll be fine upon arrival...they just might need a little extra lovin' when they get there

This is for the members in the U.S. only...

Since some folks have received plants in spike while others have not...I've received notice from a donor (who would like to remain anonymous) about an "incentive" plan:

The "prizes" will be:

*One to the first person to bloom their plant that arrived in spike
*One to the first person to bloom their un-spiked plant.

A Novelty Phal...seedling crosses of well known award winning Phals.

The blossoms could be anything from clear white, pink, red, yellow or spotted, striped, or harlequins. Any combination that red/yellow novelty plants might produce from seed.

They are first time crosses of the winning Phals. and the plants will all be basically first time, one of a kind plants.

Names of the parent plants will be provided

What a wonderful and generous offer!

I'll be tracking how everybody receives their plants: in-spike or not in spike...

Upon receipt of your plant, check it carefully and post your findings and a
