OK, so here is an update of mine. I'm quite pleased with it's progress even if there are still no flowers.

I noticed several new growths tucked down hidden next to last years bulbs but haven't counted how many yet.

WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!

i just found 1 bloom and 1 bud!!! YAYYYYY!!! im soooo SURPRISED!!!!!!!!!!!

i didnt think it was liking the S/H but it seems to like it now! i was SO close to missing the blooms too!

oh and dont even get me started about the smell!! it smells great!!!!!

i recall someone saying that most of these dont look real plump when they are in bloom. its TRUE! mine isnt real plump, most of the bulbs have a few creases, but its blooming!!!

Some say epiphytic orchids are parasite, for living on trees.. However, I say that orchids are parasites for luring us humans to take them into our homes to feed and care for them. Much more care than they would get in the wild....

thanks! i had pretty much given up on it blooming, and put it in the back and stopped looking at it. i forgot enough that i almost didnt even see the blooms!
