16"max plant size.
Intermediate Temp. grower (may vary slightly)

Searching Tips. (if anyone has any other ways, let me know and I will add it here)

The best way I have found to research plant to suggest, is to locate a orchid from a local vendor to you, that fit the criteria. Then using the links below see if the other place's also have it. If you find one or more that fit the criteria and located everywhere then take note's of the plant, where you found it for each location, and how much. If possible supply the IOSPE link.

Tentative list: (The one's inRed have issue's and may not make the final poll)(and almost all of these suggestions do not meet the requirement in Canada.

Idk if they can be found elsewhere, so I'm posting them to check and see if they're available in the U.K and Europe.

I found an option that is available in all US, Canada, and Europe, so all that needs to be found is if it's available in the UK.

Dave, it might be good to copy and paste the parameters, and the vendor search sites on the first post. Just to remind people?

Thought I'd say- Hauserman's will ship to Canada if a plant cannot be found there. And they're having a 20% off sale right now!

I still think it would be neat to do a Dendrobium, even if we aren't doing the moniliforme, and since we've only done one other Den. Some prices are a little higher than $20, but I believe that's mainly in EUR and Canada.....:/

So here goes!
Dendrobium parishii IOSPE PHOTOS
Available at Oak Hill, and Hauserman's.
EU- Orchideen Lucke
:X Can't find one available in Canada, but there are some on ebay...

Dendrobium laevifolium IOSPE PHOTOS
This is one of my favorites, people in Canada would have to order from Hauserman's- http://www.orchidsbyhausermann.com/M...Category_Code=
Großräschener- http://www.orchideenwlodarczyk.de/sh...49ca9296f68a67 not sure about money conversion, is 25 Euros too pricey?

Dendrobium oligophyllum IOSPE PHOTOS
Another charming, easy growing mini.
$15 at Oak Hill
Großräschener- EUR 12.01 Dendrobium oligophyllum - Großräschener Orchids
however....BS at Orchids in our tropics for Canada, is $35....:X

Dendrobium kingianum IOSPE PHOTOS
I know this one is rather common, but I think it would be great for those participants who want an super easy, rewarding plant.
Santa Barbara Orchid Estate has a bunch of different varieties that could really make it interesting! It's also available at Oak Hill for cheap as well.
$24 fs at Paramount- Species
8,90 € at Orchideen- Orchideen Lucke

Dendrobium unicum IOSPE PHOTOS
I know this "unique" den is well love by a few people on here.
Not available in Canada, but is cheap at Hauserman's, which ships to Canada. ($12.99)
EUR 15.00 at Großräschener Dendrobium unicum - Großräschener Orchids

Dendrobium lindleyi (aggregatum) IOSPE PHOTOS
I can't say enough about this hardy little guy.
Not in Canada, but it's $20 at Hauserman's.
EUR 16.00 at Großräschener- Dendrobium lindleyi - Großräschener Orchids
12.50 here- Nardotto e Capello Shop

There's also Dendrobium chrysotoxum IOSPE PHOTOS
but it's pushing it price-wise. $28-30 at Paramount, $25 at Hauserman's, $20 at OH, but it's cheap in Europe- EUR 12,50 Nardotto e Capello Shop
EUR 6,90 Orchideen Lucke, and 15 at Großräschener

Be sure to check if a plant has been used in past projects. There's a thread in Member Projects that will tell you all that.
Sedirea japonica has already been used.

Posting links to where it is available is helpful as well, and saying what it is.

Do we have to buy from the same vendor? If so, that limits our choices a lot...

Great I just got home and will be going over your choice's. And will make a tentative list in the first post. I did add the list of plants that was used in previous projects and we don't want to re use them.
Just a couple request. To make my job faster and easier can you post your suggestion similar to Izzie's. with the prices vendors and IOSPE link. Picture will not be necessary the IOSPE link will provide it. Also if your unable to find it in Canada go ahead and post it but if someone from Canada joins we will not consider it for the final poll. Getting plants from other country's can get expensive and a possibly lost of plants. Thanks everyone.
