Thumbs up SUMMER PROJECT PLANT SUGGESTIONS

HERE WE GO! We will be choosing Species plants that are compact in size with a max of 15 inch with spike. Blooming size, flowering time can vary. There will be a $25.00 cap on the price, have no idea what that converts to in Canada and Europe. The difference in this project is that you Should choose plants that are known to be available in all area's. This means picking plants from known vendors list. By doing this it ensures availability and quality of plants.

When you suggest your plant, please include where they are available and what group they belong in.
Please suggest plants in your group only.

Here's a list of well known and respected vendors
USA
Andy's Orchids - Orchid Species - Orchids - Species Specialist - Orchids on a stick = AO
Oak Hill Gardens = OH
Orchids By Hausermann = OBH
Mountain Orchids, Orchids & Plants for discriminating tastes. = MO
J&L Orchids ~ Home Page = JL

EUROPE
Orchid Vendors in the European Union = EV
http://www.orchideenwlodarczyk.de/sh...49ca9296f68a67

CANADA
Paramount Orchids = PO
Cloud's Orchids = CO
http://www.orchidsinourtropics.com/ = TO
I'm sure there are many other vendors and it's OK to use them, Just be sure they sell quality plants. AND let me know and I'll add them to the list.

NFIC = Not found in Canada
NFIE = Not found in Europe
NFIA = Not found in USA

NOW LETS HAVE SOME FUN!

Aren't you moving a bit fast with this? The sign up thread was started yesterday, and I don't think anyone is really sure how the project is going to be this time, nor what type of plants are being considered. Heck, I don't even know if many people are aware there is a project, since people ae probably away for the 4th of July. I would have waited at least a few days longer and give some precise dates in the sign up thread, if only to give people time to be aware of the project! Just a thought!

No i don't think so. The sign up and plant suggestion threads will be up for awhile. With all the info needed or they can ask. plus I can better keep up with suggestions if I start early. I think

Where is it found in the US?
Paramont (CA) has a red variety listed as blooming size.
There are several vendors in the UK.
