No fair! Mine came with no spikes.

But yup, great minds think alike!

I'm already spying my next Oak Hill order. I've been made a big fan!

I got my plant today! There is a bloom spike with two buds. The TCs were Phalaenopsis amboinensis, Bulbophyllum odoratissimum, and Cattleya intermedia.

Finally got around to taking a picture of my haraella. I really hope I dont kill it. I'm convinced that yours all look better! Oh yea, TC's were encyclia fragrans and encyclia cochleata. Wish I could have got more. Oak Hill rocks!

I'm getting a kick outta' some people saying that someone else's Haraella looks better than the one they got. They all look pretty much the same: tiny, 2" pots, 4-6 bright green leaves. So much for Haraella envy. You folks crack me up.

(Oh, by the way, mine looks the best.)

Unhappy

Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh...

I found a slug on Haella Fitzgerald when I got home from work!!!!!

It ate a piece of root. Danggggiitt! I so totally forgot slug season is here. I'm going to have to put my GH building in Fast Forward.

She's okay but I am kicking myself.

I finally got a chance to take a couple pics of my project plant and traveling companions. All are very healthy with good roots. The Haraella has a new root starting. The Polyrrhiza is just roots hehe . The Phal equestris healthy but kind of small. And I love the Encyclia 'Green Hornet'. Big plant with 3 bloom spikes. I was told it is 3/4 cochleata and the flower looks almost identical. I can't wait to see it in bloom!
