I don't want to deal with Orchid In Our Tropics either. We had bad luck with their plants, some even died and I gave up on one.

Okay, that's 3 not-so-happy comments on Orchids In Our Tropics...I'm going to remove them from the list.

I really like Laelia perrinii coerulea at Paramount Orchids. The listing for it on Clouds' site says that it is a compact form, and apparently it is fragrant too.

Thanks for removing them, Sue.

There is a couple pictures of Paph wardii here:Slipper Orchids It is availible at Clouds, but I'm not sure about the availibility other places.

I remember that Paph. primulinum var. purpurescens was also mentioned last Sun. I'm not sure what other people thought of this one, I liked it. It's on Paramount's Species list here: Species

Is it too late to get in on this Sue? What have we got it narrowed down to or are you still working on it?

Funny....I know Doug and Terry (Orchids in Our Tropics)and have had nothing but luck with their plants. I find them both nice people as well. 'Guess everyone has different experiences though.

Anyhow....as long as people are stating their vendor preference, I'd like to say that I have had not so good luck with Paramount. I don't want to diss them but would prefer to order elsewhere. (sorry....ducking for cover. )

Clouds though is super.
