this may be presumptuous of me, but is this social group related to the project, or something private on the side ?

It will be part of the project. I sent an invitation to everybody involved. It will give us a place to discuss things along the way without the threads getting lost in the general threads everyday.

Please check for your notification:

go into your control panel (UserCP) and in a box called "User Notifications", there was a link to the invite.

Once you do this, open the discussions I've started and subscribe to them if you'd like to receive email notifications of when somebody posts a new reply:

when you have a discussion thread opened, go to the top right side of that page and click on Discussion Tools, then choose Subscribe. The next page will give you the option of being notified by email or not...and no email is the default

I am also sending you each an invitation to join us in the new Social Group I created today. When you receive the invite:

in the pink line that says Social Group...look all the way to the right, you'll see the options of either joining the group or declining...please choose JOIN

In order to get email updates of the discussions we will have within the group:

when you have a discussion thread opened, go to the top right side of that page and click on Discussion Tools, then choose Subscribe. The next page will give you the option of being notified by email or not...and no email is the default

I believe I'm down on the project list but I don't know anything about an invitation to a social group. Would this be a PM or should I have received one? I don't want to be left out!

Awww Shirley...I would never leave you out!

I just re-sent the invitation. I think it comes to you in an email...maybe somebody who has already received theirs can chime in with how they received it

You know what? I actually never "received" anything. I just went to the my control panel and in a box called "User Notifications", there was a link to the invite. Here's the screenshot again...

As I said earlier, I didn't get a notification because I created the group. Now I know what to tell folks with questions

Ok, I don't want to be left out this time. I've never done a project before I want to play too!! Is there room for me on the list???
