Yippee!! I just got a flower on mine! After what Laura said about hers, I moved mine to somewhere a bit warmer (not warm, but probably on the cool side of intermediate - but away from where I grow the Masdies). Its a bit out of the way, so I wasn't seeing it every day like I do my Masdies, and I noticed a bud yesterday when I was watering!! Today it has opened!!

Thanks for the tip Laura!! Sue, I'd say it doesn't like to be as cool as the Masdies...

Way to go, Shannen!

Mine has been moved outside to the chid room where it's warm and has since bloomed...and is now growing two new growths!

This one is listed as cool/intermediate...I'm thinking the word cool should just be removed from that one!

Mystery Res. dodsonii (Project 7 Cool - Autumn 2008) Female
Default picture of cool grower

DH is on a picture taking roll today. I am trying to catch up posting them. He takes much better pics than moi. this little guy likes lots of water. I water it everyday now and no more shriveled blooms. It is just like the other one I have in that respect. The bloom is a little different than the brachypus though.

I can see why this would be considered a cool grower. Since the temps have dropped, mine has been going crazy!!! It has always grow well since I received it. By the end of "fall" here, it had already put out 4 or 5 new growths and bloomed countless times. In the last 2 months, it has 6 more new growths and well...you see the blooms...I think this is the most it has been in bloom at all once...

I'm not sure but I think it's happy...

Sorry for the crummy pictures, through the glass of the vivarium
