Default FALSE ALARM!!

My good friend Laura stopped by today to pick up her plants and once again she burst my bubble

I showed her the warm-grower and she said "it's a growth, not a spike"

I really need to find a tantrum-throwing smilie for our list...

So...back to being a growth, not a spike...but that's okay anyway

Sue, I can share your disappointment. I thought I had a spike but it ended up being a new growth. In fact, 2 new growths. So when I do finally get a spike, I may get 2 of them. Look at the bright side!

Ive gotten four growths since i got mine and im happy with that. Just a bigger show when it blooms! (And hopefully a longer bloom time with multiple spikes!)

Quick update... I have a very suspicious nubbin starting from one of my new pseudobulbs. Definitely too early for me to tell, but I think it *may* indeed be the beginning of a spike...
