David...you belong here!!!

Al, we'll see how things go along the way

Shannen, well said!

Lene...this wild ride is just starting...welcome aboard!

Your choices for discussion do not have to come from the list above...that's just what we tossed aside during our last project! I will be posting the other "reject" lists as I find them

Oh wow, I see a couple on there that I have and I shouldn't have due to temps!
Being somewhat of an old newbie, guess I didn't pay attention to that......

I had a couple from this list when we were discussing them...but now I have a few more because I fell in love with them during those discussions

Everybody's collection will "mysteriously" grow by more than one plant by the end of the project

We all learn as we go, kiki

Just because a plant says "warm" or "cool" doesn't mean it isn't possible for it to grow elsewhere...it's just going to take much more effort and some creative thinking to create the environment it wants.

Is there a particular plant you're having trouble with that falls into that category? Maybe we can come up with some ideas

I've got these chids already, that's the only reason why I tossed them out of the list. My skinneri is in sheat and amethystoglossa is growing like crazy, B. nosoda is also growing same with E. cochleata and Den. aggregatum

I can tell you now...it's going to be very tough to find a group of chids that some member doesn't already have. Almost impossible!

I, for one, have no problem with having duplicates of certain plants. I have 4 skinneri, 2 aggregatum and 2 cochleata...and if any of them had won a poll, I would've had another!

I think having this project open to hybrids is going to give us a much broader chance of finding stuff that nobody has yet

Well if I get a duplicate I will still grow it so I don't really mind but I always want something new.
