Sign-up deadline to join this project is Sunday 8/10/08

The sign-up deadline has passed so the existing list is correct.

For those who wish to suggest an orchid -
Please research the orchid for the following items below and have them ready for the chat ...

1 - Plant Size Limit - 12 inches or less
2 - Name of the orchid
3 - It's temperature growing range - Warm (W), Intermedate (I) or Cool (C)
4 - A link to it's photo off of Jay's Encyclopedia Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia or some other site
5 - Availability - the orchid must be available in the USA & Europe (and possibly Canada)

This information is vital in making our chat go smoothly and without it, the orchid will not be discussed.


The same information is needed for any suggestions made in this thread.

You do not need to choose a particular temperature range at this time.

I am signing up. Maybe for one, maybe for two. Just how expensive might this get, anyway? Dorothy is scaring me a little here with her talk of $. Oh, and I may not be here tonight. We are expecting thunderstorms in the area this evening. Maybe rain will put out some of the forest fires if more don't get started! Lightning does that sometimes.
