Dendrobium cuthbertsonii 'White Tips' AM/AOS x self

would seem straight cuthbertsonii according to the data sheet provided

Its going to be n danger if my "RJadarium" doesnt arrive soon

I don't recall whether I've mentioned this recently... Alan Koch discussed growing Den. cuthbertsonii when he spoke to our Society in 2017.

Nice! Definitely the species. Good luck... I have failed miserably with the species outside at my house... summers too warm. In San Francisco they grow quite nicely. There are a bunch of "mostly cuthbertsonii" with a dollop of warmer-growing species that have the "look" though usually a bit larger, that are more forgiving. If you can keep it happy, great!

yes Alan Koch is another who's very good at what he does. He takes notes on what he had for breakfast, the color shape and form of his scrambled eggs

the cuthberts are so cute they just have to be done right or they die fast. you dont get a got too dry with them if its got to dry its done.

It was my only orchid society species plant of the month many many years ago

Mine have tended to die slowly. Even worse... they make me think that I have the formula, they do their thing for a couple of years, then they fade... they could get a little dry, they could be too wet, summer night warmer than normal... something offends them and they fade away. And being semi-deciduous Dens, one can't be sure that they are really dead until after a year or so reality sets in. So I have given up.

the monthly Leptotes pohlitinocoi shot. its happy. not been fussy at all. has provided itself some new roots and new growth.

I provided some new orchid buddies to grow with..

It does look great. And compared to mine it is huge. Vendor swore it was blooming size, but the leaves aren't as thick as common cotton string. At least it is growing.
