I must agree, that looks SUPER!! And that plant is going to love being in that nice open airy pot.

I was just reading today the Orchid Digest article by Jason Fischer. In it he talks about the traditional Japanese pots and in general the role that the pots play in the overall appreciation of Neofinetia. What I got from the article - though it is not stated directly - is that the pots are an important part of being able to appreciate these plants all year long, not just when they are in flower. If the pot is nice to hold, it adds to appeal of the plant, as I think these plants are meant to be picked up and looked at closely. In my opinion, Erin pots fulfill this role completely, wonderfully and beautifully. Something that you have shown us, Al, with your beautiful combination!!

Thanks for sharing the pics! I hope you enjoy this beauty every day for a long, long time!

Unfortunately not, Becca... I was able to get the back issue of Orchid Digest from Jason (Orchids Limited) thanks to LinhT telling me that he still had some. OD doesn't have any more of that issue, when I inquired about it.

Gwen, if you have Vic's e-mail address would you PM me with it? I'd love to send him a thank you note and include the picture.

Thanks,
Al

Beautiful pot and orchid Al! You did a fantastic job pairing that orchid with the pot. It looks like it was made for it! Congratulations!
