looks like a lot of votes already for the angraecum. I certainly approve of the name, but perhaps everyone should check the culture requirements, as I know we have a lot of people in different climates, and hot/wet/bright might be hard for some.

from orchidspecies:

Common Name Scott's Angraecum [English Orchid Enthusiast 1800's]

Flower Size To about 4" [to 10 cm]

This small, hot growing epiphyte with subcylydrical to terete leaves comes from the Comoros Islands and is found at an altitude of 350-600 meters in open exposed areas with erect or pendant, elongated, cylindrical stems with 6 to 8, subcylindrical or terete, subulate, bicarinate, canaliculate leaves that blooms in the spring, summer and early fall on a 4" [10 cm] long, axillary, slender, mostly ascending raceme with scarious bracts and fragrant, inverted, waxy, sucessively opening flowers with only one open at a time. They like bright light, steady water and fertilizer and can be tree fern plaque mounted or in small wood slat baskets.

Synonyms Angorchis scottiana [Rchb.f] O.Ktze. 1891; Angraecum reichenbachinum Kraenzl. 1890

Thanks everybody
Scott, at the chat last night, Vida had her Flora's book available and we were able to get cultural info on all the plants discussed. It was interesting...and fun
Have you placed your vote?
I'm surprised to see the Ang in the forefront...that wasn't the way it seemed it would go last night!

Arrow PLANT AVAILABILITY

Hi. just got an email from Greg at Oak Hill...

First, the 25% discount is to be applied to the project plant only

Then:

They have short supplies on the Max and the Bulbo.
The Leptotes is only available mounted.

Seems like the Ang is winning anyway, so...

I've voted according to what I believe will probably grow best for me in my conditions, . Which is the Ang scott or the Kefer tolima, and since I already have an Angi, and really like Minis, The Kefer it is!
