I'm so jealous, I wanted to get the 10 for $50, but did not have the room to accommadate, yet, .. lol. Send some of those 28, lists ... our curious minds want to know. Thanks Sue for making the changes.

Ok, among the 28 were:
Bl. Morning Glory "Renmas' HCC/AOS
Blc. Copper Queen
Bc. Maikai 'Louise' AM/AOS
Bc. Hippodamia
Brassia Caudata var. alba 'Jem" AM/AOS
Brs. Longissima 'Pumpkin Patch'
Blc. Hawaiian Treat
Brassavola Nodosa
C. Amethystoglossa ('Petala Larga' x "Gloriosa')
Bc. Mount Hood 'Mary' AM/AOS
Cymbidium Accent 'Chocolate Chip'
Epidendrum Radicans 'Orange Pastel'
Epidendrum Radicans 'White & Pink Pastel Passion''
Epidendrum ibaguense 'Sunburst'
Epidendrum ibaguense
Angraecum Scottianum
Dendrobium atroviolaceum
Encyclia fragrans
Phaleaenopsis amboinensis
This doesn't count all of the 10 for $50 -- I haven't written them down yet.
I just bought some shelves from Lowe's and they're on that for now, on my deck under the pear tree.
This winter, they'll have to go in the sunroom. I'm putting up a temporary greenhouse this winter where I can hopefully keep all of my ferns alive. And if the ferns are outside, that opens up lots of room in the sunroom for orchids!
What I don't have figured out yet is how to get the humidity up in my sunroom this winter. It's open to the kitchen, so I don't know if a humidifier will work. I bought a single humidity tray from Oak Hill Gardens. It is nice, but at $20 for one, I'll go broke if I buy enough for all the orchids. Any suggestions?

Carlq
I would like an orchid with the name Chocolate Chip :c) Cute...
I was trying to think of a way to put a humidifier slightly above the orchid shelf - so when the mist comes out, it comes onto most of the orchids on the way down.
ALSO there are those cheap plastic "bowls" at Walmart - you can put rocks in the bottom and then water. I do that with some of my orchids. I can fit a couple in some of those bowls... :c)

carl, sounds like quite the bank-buster! as for humidity...you might want to read this article: Ray's humidity article

To summarize, "humidity trays" are probably ineffective. BTW, I intend to test this a little bit later with my experiment.
