Darn! We waited for spring and now there's a pandemic...

Hey everyone, do you think we could get this project going again?

I am down to participate in an orchid project, but sadly don't have the time to organize one this year :(

Any new project won't get going until next spring, it's too cold for shipping in a lot of places.

The lows in the Bay Area are in the forties, which is nowhere near the freezing temps other places are getting, but this California native is not tolerating it well! :blushing:

Just wondering, what are our plant choices as of now? Maybe we could discuss, even if we're not going to order for a while?

I’d be down for the start of a discussion (only a few months til warmer weather).

I know I am not exactly living in a place where I can judge if it’s warm enough yet :) so for those who still need to deal with cold weather is it warm enough now? Importing something here is an adventure but I’d love to participate if the plant selected is something I can get.

getting close, it has been snowing the last few days here in Montana, but it is almost warm enough I would feel confident shipping, a few more weeks maybe...

Sounds good! Do you think we should maybe start a new thread?
