rbarata, it has a new shoot starting! I have it on the top tier of the greenhouse window so, bright indirect light but not so much as the sunroom. I potted it as ES suggested in spag and fir bark in a ceramic pot with side holes. It seems happy. So far, so good. Thank you for asking, that was thoughtful.

Wow. Mine has some crummy foliage but, I understand that is normal. While I was taking these, I noticed two new eyes! It came to me with that blackened spot. I treated it and it hasn't spread, so I'm not going to worry about it.

That's a beautiful plant!

In mine, the that growth is one year old so the spots are more or less normal. Although I have sprayed it with a fungicide, another possibility is what is explained in ES notes about excess fertilizer. So I've cut a bit when watering.
It can be also not enough air circulation, which is something I can create in warmer weather.

My main concern is leaves colour...not really noticeable in the photos but they are a pale green, in some areas almost white. It increased with warm weather and I suspect it is due to too much light. It's in a north window but is has some white buildings in front of it. They are more or less far away, around 0,2 miles, but the light they reflect is strong, as well as the temps associated with it (with temps now hitting the 86 F, the radiated energy is strong).
So I've moved its position on the windowsill to avoid those buildings...and I'll keep my windows opened at night when the humidity is higher (in daytime is around 25%, too low).

I understand the indirect light. The front of our house faces SSW and the back NNE. However, there is a lot of heat reflected from our deck and in the summer months especially, when the sun is high, there is that reflected light. How it can be when the deck stain is dark, I do not know. I think you are wise to move it back.

In your case, if the spots get worse I'd appreciated to know what you're doing with it...maybe I can get some more ideas.
