Holy cow! I think I can speak for all of us that we'd like more info from her. Japanese?! Most of us can't speak "The King's English" properly. I'll see if Dr Google can help me.

Let me know if you want me to ask her specific questions. I don't mind. I'm a native Japanese speaker.

I know you are. A picture's worth a thousand words. But each photo looks better than ours. I wonder if any of it has to do with the FL climate? It doesn't look like s/h. It just looks like it's planted normally in that material. I wonder what that stuff really is and how you'd find it. Ugh. More questions.

Pretty sure this is what she uses:

LECHUZA DELTA 20

She comments that she basically forgets about it. doesn't measure humidity in her apt. just waters every 10 days. and it grows/flowers extremely well. That's all I can get off of her posts.

It looks like this orchid was growing well planted in sphag/bark/lechuza... so. Probably something more about her overall growing conditions.

That's my thought too. Did you look at the prices for these supplies! Yikes, $$$.

To me, the Lechuza Pons looks very similar to either Seachem Flourite or Fluval Stratum. Those are both used in planted aquariums. I prefer the Fluval Stratum, as it buffers.

Were I going to try something like the Japanese lady Jeff is talking about, I'd experiment with the Fluval.

Mine grew well right in front of the swamp cooler, and standing in water. Then it got et.
