Default Bollopetalum Midnight Blue 'Cardinal's Roost'

Did I never post the blooms of this when I first got it? Will have to find those pics & post if that is the case. In the meantime I just wanted to share that it has a very young spike. It has three new growths but only one is spiking. Maybe more will or maybe the plant is telling me it's happy enough but could be happier. This plant has spent most of its time inside since I got it this summer in bloom. It's been in a south-facing window still in the mix it came in, bark/perlite mix, quite chunky probably too much so for my care.

I was looking at those this past summer but didn't pull the trigger. I can't remember now why I didn't......how would you describe the fragrance?
