Default Maxillaria friedrichsthalii

Greetings -
This is a (really) new one to me: somebody had this plant at a class I attended...both the miniature size and the creeping habit really appealed to me, and the owner gave me a little offshoot. Of course, I took it.
In just about a month, it has grown roots and buds, which are beginning to open. I'll try to get a better photo when the buds are fully open - the plant is very tiny, and the flowers about 2-3mm across. The scent is surprisingly strong, and quite like Dend. kingianum. Very sweet.
Enjoy - Nancy

Interesting! I'd like to see a close-up of the fully open flowers!
