I absolutely love this one, Mauro. I have a Maxillaria variabilis 'Grace' that is showing one yellow blossom right now. I rather like this orchid and perhaps I will search for one like yours...it is really adorable.

Mauro - a beautiful orchid plant. Mine just opened a day or so ago with only about 12 flowers. Must admit yours appears to be a deeper red than mine and more spotting. Tho I do love the fragrance.

I've heard that you can cut the Max. tenuifolia back and root the cutting. Does any one know how to do that , Were do you cut it at and how do you root the part that is cut off? My goal is to make a bushy Max. Ten. then just two long ones coming up. One is probley 5 to 6bulbs high the other maybe 3 or 4. I have it in orchid soil. any help is needed. Thank You
